Painter and artist in pen and ink, born in Newcastle upon Tyne, where he attended the College of Art & Design. Most of his working life was spent in advertising agencies and commercial art studios as an illustrator and designer. His own work was concerned with marine, aircraft and landscape subjects. Showed at Darlington Art Gallery; Bede Museum in Jarrow; Sally Port Gallery, Berwick-upon-Tweed; Patricia Wells Gallery, Thornbury, and elsewhere. Lived in Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear. A major show of Dack’s work was held at the Earl of Zetland floating public house and restaurant in North Shields in 2002.
