Painter and teacher, born in Ninfield, Sussex, married to the artist Elizabeth Cramp. He studied at Hastings School of Art and Bournemouth College of Art into early 1950s, his teachers including Vincent Lines. He was a teacher and head of art at Fishguard County Secondary School, 1954–81. Showed with NEAC and RWS of which he was a member, LG, New Art Centre, RWA and elsewhere, as well as at home in Fishguard, Pembrokeshire. WAC and National Museum of Wales, Cardiff, hold his work.
