Painter in oil and gouache of landscapes, marine scenes and flowers. Born in London, Cook studied at the Hampstead School of Art and during World War II was an official fireman-artist. He exhibited widely, at the RA, RSA, RWA and the Leicester, Redfern and Trafford Galleries. The Imperial War Museum and Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery, Devon, hold his work. Studio, Sphere and Tatler used his pictures. Lived in Polperro, Cornwall.
