Painter and teacher, born in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, who studied at local College of Art, 1972, then at Goldsmiths’ College School of Art, 1973–6. After working at British Museum, 1977–85, taught art at Lincoln, Portsmouth and Hereford. Regularly showed at RA Summer Exhibition from 1980s; with Islington Group, 1983–4; Hill Court Gallery, Abergavenny, 1992; Keith Chapman Gallery, 1993; and shared a show with Dewi Tudur at Martin Tinney Gallery, Cardiff, 1994.
