Painter, especially in watercolour, born in London, educated at Wolverhampton Grammar School. He trained as an architect, but gave this up in the late 1920s to become a full-time painter, exhibiting widely in England and America. He was a member of both RSMA and RI. Lived for many years in Andover, Hampshire.
