Figure painter in oil and tempera, stained glass artist and ceramics maker. Born in Hungary where he initially studied art, then at Académie Julian, in Paris, and Camden School of Art, London. Exhibited RA and Beaux Arts Gallery. One-man shows in London, Edinburgh and Germany. As well as extensive official purchases abroad, Bossanyi’s work is held by the Tate Gallery and Victoria & Albert Museum. He lived at Eastcote, Pinner, Middlesex.
