Sculptor who did a foundation course at Buckinghamshire College of Higher Education, then gained a fine art honours degree from South Glamorgan Institute of Higher Education, Cardiff. Bigger was regional winner, Livewire Award, 1991; regional winner, Reader’s Digest/Prince’s Youth Business Trust Award, 1992; won the Wildlife Art Prize, SWLA, Mall Galleries, 1993; and was a finalist British Airways Award for Young Achievers in Art, 1995. Bigger said that she enjoyed “an active lifestyle which reflects in my work. My main interest outside sculpture is Tae Kwon-do (Korean martial art), which has inspired several works…. My aim is to suggest a gesture, a movement, by utilising the minimum of detail”. Took part in many group exhibitions, her solo shows including a series at Bohun Gallery, Henley-on-Thames, from 1992; Guinness Gallery, Dublin, Ireland, from 1994; Milne & Moller Gallery, 1996; and New Academy Gallery, from 1997.
