Painter and teacher, born in Pontypridd, Glamorgan. Attended Cardiff College of Art, 1951–3, then after National Service resumed studies at Slade School of Fine Art, 1956–9, followed in 1960 by a London University postgraduate studentship in fine art. Joined Sheffield College of Art Polytechnic as a lecturer in fine art. Participated in many group shows, including Young Contemporaries, 1958–60, LG and the 1964 show of Contemporary British Art in Bradford, having several one-man exhibitions at New Art Centre. Both Arts Council and WAC hold his work.
