Printmaker, weaver of tapestries and teacher, born in Lwówek, Poland. He studied in Poland, elsewhere on the continent and in England. Victoria & Albert Museum, British Museum, other museums in Britain and in North America, and Toruń University, Poland, hold his work. Taught for a time at Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts. His work is in the Council for National Academic Awards collection. Beutlich was given a seventy-fifth birthday show at Hove Museum & Art Gallery in 1997, where he held master-classes. Lived nearby at Ditchling, Sussex.
