Painter, born in Wiltshire, who studied at City and Guilds of London Art School and Central St Martins College. Group exhibitions included Concourse Gallery, Barbican Centre, 1992; The Mag Collection, Ferens Art Gallery, Hull, 1997; and Towner Art Gallery, Eastbourne, 1998. In 1999 Beddington was a finalist for The NatWest Art Prize, exhibiting unpopulated scenes based on photographs of the city at night, evoking traces of human presence and with an eerie, dreamlike quality. Also in 1999 exhibited in John Moores Liverpool Exhibition and had a solo exhibition at Hales Gallery.
