Painter, born in London, son of Sir Colville Barclay. He was educated at Eton College and Oxford, obtaining a master’s degree, studying art at Ruskin School of Art with Albert Rutherston. Showed in mixed exhibitions at RA, RBA, LG and at public galleries in Bradford, Brighton and Sheffield. Arts Council, Bradford City Art Gallery and the London County Council Pictures for Schools scheme held his work. Sir Colville lived near Petworth, Sussex.
