Sculptor, born at Newton Abbot, Devon. Studied at Exeter College of Art, Lambeth School of Art and the Royal Academy Schools, where he gained several awards, followed by studies in Italy and Greece. Worked in the studio of Sir George Frampton for several years. Exhibited RA, RSA, Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts and overseas. In the mid-1920s went to live at Sandy Hook, Connecticut. Angel, who was elected a fellow of the RBS, did a volume of work in England and American churches.
