Artist and designer, born in London. He studied at Ravensbourne College of Art & Design, Bromley, his teachers including Michael Tyzack. Worked as a graphic designer for eight years before returning to painting full-time in 1975. This coincided with his move to Holyhead, Anglesey. His exhibitions included RA Summer Exhibition, 1981; Bangor Art Gallery and National Eisteddfod, Swansea, 1982; Mid-Wales Open, 1984, where he won a prize; Prints from Wales, Wenniger Graphics, Boston, 1987; Artists in the National Parks, Victoria & Albert Museum, 1988; The Last Dance, Oriel Theatr Clwyd, 1995; Afon Conwy, National Library of Wales, 1997; National Print Exhibition, Mall Galleries, 2002; and The Chapel Gallery, Llangollen, 2004. Later solo shows included New Directions, an Oriel Mon, Anglesey, tour, 1999–00, and Farmer Street Studio, Anglesey, 2004.
