Designer and painter, born in Borrowash, Derbyshire, who studied at Harrow School of Art, his teachers including Maurice de Sausmarez and Christopher Sanders, 1939–43 and 1947–9. Went on to run Anderson Art Studios. He showed at Young Contemporaries, RA and RBA. Lived for a time at Northwood, Middlesex.
