A small Italian wooden carved bust of a woman wearing a helmet, possibly the goddess Minerva. It has a square base with a circular section to which the bust attaches. She is wearing a draped top with flowers where the bust attaches to the base, the helmet also appears to have flower or plume design on the top. She has curled, long hair flowing loose beneath the helmet and she is looking straight ahead. The base is attached by screws but has become loose making the bust fragile to pick up. It is very dark in colour.
