A life-size figure of a young Priscilla Maria Veronoc White, OBE, better known as 'Cilla Black', dressed in a 1960s sleeveless mini dress. The patchwork dress features images from the singer's life. The motifs – in the form of squares on her dress – include pictures of the star, song lyrics and words and phrases she was known for. Cilla Black was The Cavern Club's most famous cloakroom attendant. She worked at The Cavern before going on to become a singer and subsequently one of Britain's best-known and best-loved television stars. Her singles 'Anyone Who Had a Heart' and 'You're My World' both reached number one in the UK in 1964. The unveiling marked 60 years of The Cavern, which became synonymous with Merseybeat and The Beatles.
