There are four stones with Pictish carvings in the village of Aberlemno, variously dating between about AD 500 and AD 800. They include the 'Roadside Cross', 'Crescent Stone', 'Serpent Stone', and 'Churchyard Cross'. They are Class I and Class II early medieval standing stones.
