Artist, born in Manchester, who attended Central St Martins College of Art and Design, 1993–4, then Royal College of Art, 1994–6. Their paintings had a strong theatrical feel, with unusual lighting effects. Selected exhibitions/performances included, 1995, Collaborative performances with Esther T Performance Company: Careful … Title of performance, Baby’s Got a Gun, performed at Queer Circus, Pride Arts Festival, Ministry of Sound; Torture Garden, The Brix Theatre; Summer Exhibition, ICA; Fist Substation South; Naïve Madame JoJo’s; Come Market Tavern. And in 1996: 30 minus, Paton Gallery. In 2001, Victoria Miro Gallery presented seven large paintings, Madame X and the Party Tricks, based loosely on the Faust legend. Lived in London.
