Sculptor using a wide range of found and other objects, and teacher, born in Kingston-upon-Hull, Yorkshire. He studied at Maidstone College of Art, 1967–71, and won a series of awards from Arts Council, Scottish Arts Council and Henry Moore Foundation. Was a visiting lecturer at Winchester, Cheltenham, Wolverhampton, Dundee and Glasgow Colleges of Art; Royal Academy Schools; and Ruskin School of Drawing, Oxford. Exhibitions included Upper Street Gallery, 1975–6; Ikon Gallery, Birmingham, 1980; Goldmark Gallery, Uppingham, 1991; Paper Works IV, Dundee, where he was first prize winner, 1993; and The Gallery in Cork Street, 1994. Was included in In Praise of Trees, Stephen Lacey Gallery in 2002.
