These historic oil paintings represent significant individuals who have helped to found or shape the city's historic infirmaries at Castle Street (now the University's City Campus) and Silver Street. The portraits have recently been restored to their original home within the former Worcester Royal Infirmary in the city.
The Board Room (site of the foundation, in 1832, of what would later become the British Medical Association) is now restored to its former grandeur and it is now possible for visitors to the city to appreciate this most valuable piece of medical history.
