Portrait and decorative artist, born in Cardiff, who attended Cardiff Technical College, where she won a gold medal for art; at Kensington under Sir Arthur Cope; at the Royal Academy Schools, where she gained a string of medals and prizes; then in Italy and the Netherlands.
