Thangam Debbonaire has been the MP for Bristol West since 2015. Since 2020 she has served as Shadow Secretary of State for Housing, and is Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Refugees.
Thangam started out as a professional cellist but for many years her main focus was working locally, nationally and internationally to end domestic violence.
