Dr Suzanne Fagence Cooper is an art historian and expert on nineteenth- and twentieth-century British art. She was a curator and Research Fellow at the V&A for 12 years and is currently an Honorary Visiting Fellow at the University of York where she is curating a major exhibition on Ruskin and J. M. W. Turner. She is the author of Effie: The Passionate Lives of Effie Gray, John Ruskin and John Everett Millais, filmed with a script by Emma Thompson in 2014 as Effie Gray.
