Dr Samantha Howard is Curator of Arts at The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery, Stoke-on-Trent, where she is responsible for its extraordinary and diverse designated collections of British art, decorative arts and textiles. She has previously worked at Fairfax House Museum in York, and with Historic Royal Palaces, based at Kensington Palace. She is a member of the British Art Network (BAN) jointly led by Tate and the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art.
