Neil studied fine art painting at Norwich School of Art under John Lessore, Edward Middleditch and John Wonnacott. For a number of years he worked as a visiting artist in schools while continuing to create my own paintings. After that, he taught painting and drawing at Doncaster College, in particular specialising in Life Drawing. For the past 15 years Neil has looked after the Fine Art collection cared for by Heritage Doncaster. He has curated annual exhibitions of works from the collection, while also arranging a number of temporary exhibitions each year.
