Dr Christina Faraday is a historian of art and ideas, specialising in the Tudor period. She is a Research Fellow in History of Art at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge and an AHRC/BBC New Generation Thinker. She completed her AHRC-funded PhD at the University of Cambridge in 2019, while working part-time as a curatorial intern at the National Portrait Gallery in London. She now lectures for the History of Art Department and the Institute of Continuing Education at the University of Cambridge, and The Wallace Collection in London, and can often be heard on BBC Radio 3, on podcasts and in other popular media, including Apollo Magazine. In 2021 she was shortlisted for the British Journalism Awards in the Arts and Entertainment category.
