Alice Rylance-Watson is Collections Cataloguer for sculpture at the National Trust. She has previously worked at Tate, cataloguing J. M. W. Turner’s sketchbooks, drawings and watercolours, and at the British Library, where she was Research Curator in the department of Western Heritage. At the British Library, she developed Picturing Places, an online learning resource exploring the Library’s rich collection of topographical prints and drawings and maps, and developed and delivered workshops within the Library’s Schools programme. Born in Camberwell but raised in Oman, she has degrees in history of art from York and the Courtauld.
