Falmouth Art Gallery houses one of the most important art collections in Cornwall, with a strong collection of prints by Modern European, American and British artists. A collection of over 2,700 was built upon the core collection donated by the businessman and benefactor Alfred de Pass. Located in the town's Municipal Buildings in 1978 and refurbished in 1996, purchases have been made through grant funding from organisations such as The Art Fund, the Heritage Lottery Fund, MLA/V&A Purchase Grant Fund, and the Nerys Johnson Contemporary Art Fund, and it has benefitted from major donations including those from Richard Harris, Robert Priseman, Grace Gardner, and Sue and Ron Astles, as well as the inspirational Director Brian Stewart.

Artists featured in this Curation: Ivor Abrahams (1935–2015), Eileen Agar (1899–1991), Isobel Atterbury Heath (1908–1989), Frank Helmuth Auerbach (1931–2024), Wilhelmina Barns-Graham (1912–2004), Leo Fison Bates (1890–1957), Glen Baxter (b.1944), Trevor Bell (1930–2017), Anthony Benjamin (1931–2002), Sven Berlin (1911–1999), and 50 more
