In this sculpture there are three warthogs by a muddy pool – one is rolling on its back, while one is drinking and the third is resting its rump on a boulder. Warthogs (Phacochoerus aethiopicus) occur in most of Africa south of the Sahara. This was originally kept in the Regent's Canal Room and moved for safekeeping.
