In the foreground of this tondo (circular work of art), are depicted the Virgin with the Christ Child and the infant John the Baptist. In the middle distance left is Saint Jerome, and to the right, Saint Francis receiving the Stigmata. The whole is set in a landscape background with a Leonardesque rock formation.
