A sculpture which celebrates the role of glassmaking in the history of Barnsley, in particular Monk Bretton, has played in glassmaking for more than 400 years, funded by the family of former chairman of glass manufacturer Redfearns. There is a nearby companion bench. The sculpture comprises of five round glass and steel towers and a surrounding laser cut steel enclosure with images of glassmaking.
