William Tillyer studied at the Slade School of Art in London and taught at the Bath Academy of Art from 1963 to 1964.

Tillyer likes to use unconventional materials ranging from pebbles to piano hinges. He constantly updates and changes his styles and themes, making him an exciting artist to follow. He aims to let his paintings speak for themselves and to withdraw his personality as much as possible.
