An Indian alabaster statuette in the form of Shridepi (another name for Lakshmi). She is standing on a integrated base that is painted red with gold coloured borders and a floral patterned frieze. Her feet are decorated with painted gold rings on each of her toes and a gold painted anklet on both legs that has a suspended gold medallion with red beading attached to it and stretched over the front of the foot which is anchored to the outer toe rings. She is stand with her arms out in front of her body with her thumb and fore finger pressed together. She wears a white sari with a thin green border followed by a thicker gold floral band finished with a thin red border. On the main expanse of fabric are large gold coloured dots with red centres, and she wears an armlet on both arms with a large gold coloured circle outlined in red with a green centre and red dotted border.
