Ian Strang
1886–1952
Draughtsman, printmaker, black-and-white artist and painter. Born in London, elder son of the artist William Strang, he first studied at the Slade School of Fine Art, 1902–6, with Henry Tonks and Fred Brown, then at the Académie Julian, Paris, with Jean-Paul Laurens, 1906–8.
