Vincent Evans
1896–1976
Painter, printmaker and teacher, born in Ystalyfera, Glamorgan, South Wales. Worked for a time in coal mining. Studied at Swansea School of Art and at Royal College of Art until 1924 under William Rothenstein and Frank Short.
