Alexander Kellock Brown
1849–1922
Alexander Kellock Brown was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on 11 February 1849. By the late 1850s he had moved to Glasgow. After studying at Glasgow School of Art and at Heatherley's School of Fine Art in London, her returned to Glasgow where he embarked on a career as a sculptor and as a painter.
