The work is part of refurbishment works in 1880. Set in a gothic-styled niche above the north porch on the exterior of the church is the figure of a man in bishop's clothing with a crozier supported by his left arm and a book in his left hand. The right hand is held with fore and middle fingers extended in blessing.
