Unveiled by the Prince of Wales (later George V). Queen Victoria depicted as she would have been at her first jubilee in 1887, wearing full regalia, crowned and with a wreath symbolising her status as Empress of India. She holds in one hand a sceptre and in the other hand, held aloft, an orb surmounted by winged figure of Victory and Peace.
