An oil on canvas painting of the sixteenth century 'Old Ouse Bridge'. The painting shows the stone bridge with sail boats in the foreground. Goods are being unloaded by two figures onto Queen's Staith. St William's Chapel and its spire can be seen on the left whilst York Minster can be seen in the distance on the right. The bridge was demolished in 1810.
