A large statue depicting a female actor crouching in preparation to run onstage. It was erected in preparation for the city's 2020 celebration of the 400th anniversary of the 'Mayflower' sailing to the New World. It is the largest sculpture ever created in the United Kingdom using the lost-wax casting process. The statue is based upon a single pose by a female cast member, Nicola Kavanagh, during rehearsals for a performance of Othello in 2014.
