Helen Gillow Reynolds lived at Leighton Hall, where Clement Roebuck apparently visited on several occasions. Edward Sego was also a friend of Helen Gillow Reynolds and is said to have inspired her to paint. This connection may also explain the presence of Edward Sego paintings in the Roebuck Collection.
