Oil painting showing the last of Queen Victoria's royal yachts being towed out of Portsmouth Harbour to the breakers, with the new RY 'Britannia' coming in and about to pass her. It was reported that the officer in charge of the 'Victoria and Albert III' went up on the bridge to salute the incoming 'Britannia' and fell through the deck because it was so rotten. The Museum bought the picture from the 1955 exhibition of the Royal Society of Marine Artists.
