He wears Governors’ robes with a dark suit underneath, over a white shirt. A large gold signet ring is worn on the little finger of his left hand, and a pair of gold pince-nez are held in his right hand.
Judge John Francis Taylor paid for substantial repairs to the Merchant Adventurers’ Hall and purchased a handsome gold signet ring displaying the corporate arms which had been lost from the Company’s possession.
