Louise (also known as Richard or Dick) Annand was born in Uddingston and studied at Hamilton Academy and Glasgow University. She worked in oil, watercolour and chalk, making both figurative and landscape studies. From around 1969 her work featured the townscape of Glasgow. She also worked as an Education Officer for Glasgow Museums.
