Frederick William Robertson, who studied at Brasenose College, was a noted clergyman/preacher known as 'Robertson of Brighton.' Another version of this bust at Brighton Museum & Art Gallery is attributed to William Reynolds Pepper (1830–1919) and dated c.1854.
