A concrete circular bowl with concave sides on the rim on which stand four bronze statues of seals with water issuing from their mouths. At the centre is a large bronze nautilus shell born upwards by a raft of bronze lily pads which supports the sculpture of boy with legs astride holding a fish in each hand, each of which spouts water, and with an otter at his feet. The fountain was donated to the town by William Julien Courtauld in 1938 in memory of George V.
