Decorative fluted columns supporting a decorative domed canopy with painted finial. It has a circular fountain on a pedestal in the centre. It is design number 31 from Walter McFarlane's Foundry catalogue. The fountain was relocated from the Market Place to Bull Croft Park, a meadow in the north west of the town, after being damaged by a lorry. In 1979 the Market Place was pedestrianised, and the fountain was returned to its original location.
