Andrew Freeland Fergus was an ophthalmologist at the Glasgow Eye Infirmary and Professor of Ophthalmic Medicine and Surgery at Anderson College, Glasgow from 1909 to 1915. He was President of the Royal Faculty of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow from 1918 to 1921. His father, Andrew Fergus, had twice been President of the Faculty from 1874 to 1877 and 1883 to 1886, while his younger brother John became President from 1929 to 1931.
