In centre foreground, a statue stands on a tall pedestal. The statue is of a man who stands facing the viewer. He wears a floor-length short-sleeved robe belted at the waist and holds a spear in his left hand, the shaft of the spear resting against his left shoulder. The pedestal is ornamented with pilasters. A short flight of steps leads up to the pedestal and then bisects, with two flights of steps curving around the pedestal, one at either side, rising towards the rear.
