The Cregennan Lakes are situated in the Snowdonia national park. A theme which again runs through the artist’s work is his painting of the same subject on several occasions, such as this. Christopher was fascinated by the continually changing colours, caused by sunlight, rain and wind. Painted at intervals during the night, it shows just this effect.
